It seems it is not the case, because if you play it a few seconds your mario inspired cat character will get killed unexpectedly. It's levels are intended to cause extraordinary dissatisfaction with all unexpected traps which are disruppting the classic platform games. Cat Mario was created as a parody of Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment System, but it became a phenomenon.
